  here's a guy that walks up to a literature cart, and commences throwing the books and magazines everywhere, piece by piece.

  last week in the sunday meeting a sister made a comment and collapsed, a massive heart attack.

  one of the young brothers is a fireman and he gave her mouth mouth and according to the doctor this saved her life.

  so if she had missed the meeting that day she would have surly died because her husband is not in great health.

  Continuing congregation mergers

  in the area i live in the pacific northwest, three spanish congregations we're merged into two a couple of years ago and in the next month or so four english congregations will be cut down to three.

  both situations happened because of lack of growth.

  a few years ago, i would never have imagined spanish congregations disappearing or merging but it's happening.

  Wakanda there are no signs of new language groups here so we're good on that. Im pretty sure in a few years the three English congregations will be down to two.

  i just learned that my old hall is getting sold and the 2 congregations that are meeting there are merging with 2 congregations in another hall..

  Mother is terrified over talks of peace.

  just spoke with my mother about the summit for north and south korea, her face turned a ghastly pale and she refused to talk to me about it afterwards.

  i know exactly what is on her mind, and i'm not sure if i can say or do anything to assuage her fears about this being a fulfillment of prophecy.

  any suggestions on what i could perhaps tell her to try and steer her from her line of thinking?

  Poor people like your mom get screwed up in the head because of the idiotic prophets in NY. Funny but just a couple of months ago I'm sure there was talk of North Korea being the King of the North and now it's in their conversations of Peace and Security. They don't know whether they're coming or going.

  we’ve all heard them all our life.

  my two biggest stupidest ones i think are, “ we can really tell the end is almost here with the way people drive on the highway.” and a girl who said she wants to hurry up and marry her boyfriend because she’s scared if the end comes before their married, she’ll have to wait 1000 years to marry him.

  oh and also a poor old lady saying that she hopes jehovah wipes away the memory of her disfellowshipped sons that he will have to destroy.

  That we can live forever on earth in perfection That elders will be princes on Earth. Old people will become young again. Dead people will be resurrected. There will be no more death, pain, suffering, etc. 144,000 wackos will rule over the paradise earth. We will have time to learn anything we want so we won't be bored. I will be able to have a lion or tiger as a pet. I guess we will only eat fruit, veggies and bread. Everyone will be smiling all of the time and dressed in their culture's clothing.

  I know there's many more that I heard or read about from some old farts in NY but I can't think of them at the moment.

  2018 Courage Convention video invitation

  the video invitation for the 2018 convention is just creepy.

  i thought it was some parody at first as it seems 'dark'.it begins with a young man being pushed whilst standing at his locker and the voice over says that 'in critical times we need courage more than ever'.

  next, comes a clip of a male putting his hand on the shoulder of a female worker, the look she gives him would be enough to give him nightmares for the next year.
